You Yuan is the Sect Master of the Hidden God Immortal Sect of the Nine Great Immortal Sects.

She has long been tracking Chen Fan's karmic fate, noting the strong cause and effect due to his reincarnation. She is also one of the only people who believe that Chen Fan is truly the reincarnation of a great cultivator.
She tried to kill Chen Fan to absorb the karma entangled in his body in order to breakthrough to Dao Fusion and also reach Transcends Tribulation. She released all her karmic cultivation and tried to absorb Chen Fan's karma but Chen Fan instantly mastered the laws of Cause and Effect and absorbed her karmic body instead. Her Cultivation was reduced to Foundation Establishment as a result. In her despair, she managed to comprehend a portion of the Great Dao of the Universe, which allowed her to nearly break into the Transcends Tribulation Realm on her own. However, she was reduced to ashes by Chen Fan's Immortal Qi before she could fully breakthrough, which is the only exception in the pathway of Great Dao and the only thing that could harm those who have understood it.
