Xie Yan is one of the Sect Guardians of the North Qiong Sect and also the Founder and Dragon Lord of Dragon Hall.
History[]
At first, he tried to kill Chen Fan with the help of two other sect ancestors. But in the end, one died, another fled and the last, Xie Yan became Chen Fan's disciple.
When Fang Qiong and the other top members of the North Qiong Sect disappeared, he tried to search for them. However, he was ambushed by Mu Lan from the Five Elements Immortal Sect due to possessing a hint of Chen Fan's Azure Emperor Longevity Body on him. He was then soul searched which caused his body to be destroyed and his soul rendered unconscious. He was then later found by Yang Xuan who collected the fragments of his soul to use as a bribe to get Chen Fan to aid him.
Upon being reunited with Chen Fan, his body is restored by him with the Ulan Star's Spirit Core, but a portion of his soul still remains with Yang Xuan, who he gave it to Yun Shun and was later taken back again by Chen Fan after he killed Yun Shun.
