Original Universe

The Universe, also known as the Starry Sky, is more than a trillion years worth of existence, in which there are countless galaxies and planets. It is a lower plane that exists below the Immortal Realm, which is the true sanctuary for Immortal Cultivators to live and cultivate in.

Overview[]

The Universe is a nearly sentient being, at the same time it is only a world with people within it. It usually has a Spokesperson, the one who can communicate with the Universe and see it's entirety of it through the Yellow River Map And The Inscription Of The River Luo.

After Chen Fan failed his Divine Tribulation, his rebirth that resets his five hundred years worth of lifetime created a secondary and New Universe while the old, original and unique Universe was left to rot and collapse while Chen Fan grows stronger and more interferes in the New Universe in which the "Rebirth of Urban Immortal Cultivator" takes place. The countless living beings of the Original Universe are destroyed due to Causality and Time Chaos because of his rebirth.

The universe is divided into: Galaxy Groups/Galaxy Regions, Galaxies, Star Provinces, Star Regions/Planetary Hubs, Stars/Planets.

in the Starry Sky, there are over 24 planetary Hubs. Large portions of the Universe, the Central Galaxy World are controlled and contested between various Overlords, Ancient Saints, Fiend Gods, Supreme Deities which is the strongest and most powerful beings in the whole cosmos who were able to wipe out entire planets just by raising a hand, they are after all are the Supreme Gods, the highest peaks of cultivation...

The Little South Heavenly Realm was only a shallow pond in the grand scheme of things; it couldn’t nurture a True Dragon. The universe was vast, the home of thousands of races, tons of Overlords and billions of sects. Its vastness wasn’t something cultivators in the Little South Heavenly Realm and on planet Earth could imagine.

That was neither a long nor a short time; some powerful cultivators—who sat and watched the galaxy change—saw it as a mere blink of an eye or a nap, which passed by while they stabilized their levels, refined Dharma Spells and Divine Powers. Some cultivators who loved to observe the workings of Dao might even watch for a thousand or ten thousand years in one sitting.

But for a universe that had a turbulent situation, five centuries was too long.

The universe had changed drastically in Chen Fan’s five centuries of life. Many Overlords had appeared and tons of talents rose. Some Overlords who had reached the Dao Reunion level looked over the universe from the top and there was even Chen Fan, the one known as the North Mystic Celestial Lord who had hopes of going through the Tribulation.

Before Chen Fan, there hadn’t been anyone who ascended to become a Deity in a hundred million years.

In fact, most parts of that universe thought the Deity Realm and Ascension itself were ancient legends, and that the Dao Reunion cultivators were at the top of the cultivation journey. The title of Perfected Immortal—which was used to describe Deities in Heaven—was eventually used to address Dao Reunion cultivators. The Grand Divine Powers they could display, including looking over the galaxy, crushing planets with a finger and swallowing the sun, were admired by everyone; it made them think they had reached the peak of cultivation.

All cultivators on any path saw that as the peak.

Only the most talented people dreamed about becoming Dao Reunion cultivators. Most would already be satisfied if they were able to reach the Golden Core or the Nascent Soul level. They didn’t even dare to think about reaching the Soul Formation level or above. Even though the universe and the Central Galaxy were quite vast, a Soul Formation Overlord was the dominator of a region, while Dao Reunion Perfected Immortals were even as rare as the real Deities, like dragons in the sky. Each of them counted as a powerhouse in the universe; many people would have usually seen one Dao Reunion cultivator throughout their lives.

The myriad races of the cosmos are sometimes can both evolved and technologically advanced, and stronger and more powerful than the common Human Race, as they have a martial and Qi cultivation tradition, older and more ancestral than the terrestrial one. Trivia[]

The universe of the story is several times older than the one in real life. While our universe is just 13.7 billion years old, the universe in Rebirth Of The Urban Immortal Cultivator Universe is at least trillions of years old, a thousand times older.
Unlike on Earth, the general classification for the Universe's cultivation realm for Cultivators in the Universe is starting from Qi Refinement, and then one can be called an Immortal Cultivator when entering Xiantian, then can be called a True Monarch once entering Golden Core, a Heavenly Monarch when being a Nascent Soul, a Divine Monarch as a Transform God, a Saint in the Void Returning, a True Immortal in the Dao Fusion, and the last realm before ascending to the Immortal Realm is Transcends Tribulation, with it's title being Mysterious Immortal or Profound Immortal.
