Song Yufeng is a Lone Traveler of the Star Ocean coming from the Nanli Star Region who came across Jiang Feifei when he came to Earth and took her in as his disciple by living on Earth for six months.
He is enemies with the Seven Imperishable Sects due to them killing his family. He also had a temporary affiliation with the Red Blood Immortal Sect through it's sixth young master, Chi Mochui to take the sect's treasures.
He and his disciple travels the Universe to try to gain opportunities and treasures, while he and Chen Fan can sometimes become either friends or enemies with each other.

He was born on a normal planet in the Nanli Star Region and his family had died in the war when the Longevity Sect conquested the Star Region. Then, Song Yufeng broke into the Longevity Sect with a sword to single-handedly take revenge for his family, defeating the Lords of the thirteen mountains of the Longevity Sect.[1]
In the end, a Divine Lord of the Longevity Sect stepped forward to fight with him and injured him severely. Even though Song Yufeng had been injured, he had survived a battle against a Divine Lord. That was already enough to make him famous in the Star Ocean; he was then listed as one of the most powerful cultivators below the Soul Formation level. He was then became known as the “Lone Ranger” deep in the Star Ocean.[1]
