The Nine Great Immortal Sects (九大仙宗/Jiǔ Dàxiān Zōng) are the most powerful human sects in the Universe that reside in the Central Galaxy World. They are bitter enemies with the Myriad Demon Galaxy and are currently at war with them. They are the nine top Immortal Sects existing in the Central Galaxy World.

The Nine Great Immortal Sect was created more than ten thousand years ago, it was created by the Nine Celestial Ancestors/Nine Immortal Ancestors.
Every one thousand years the Sect Masters of the Nine Great Immortal Sects gather at the center of the universe to share their insights about Dao. All those who attend are of the Dao Fusion level and discussions are made on how to breakthrough to Transcends Tribulation and the legendary Immortal Realm beyond. They also debate on political matters surrounding their sects as well.
In fact, among the Nine Great Immortal Sects, it is said that only one or two True Immortals garrison the low-ranking sects.[1]
They are a patron of one of the Universe greatest auction halls, the Collection Of The Universe.
Past Life[]
Due to the death of Fang Qiong, a civil war was initiated by the True Martial Immortal Sect between all of the Immortal Sects. Chen Fan was one of the participants of the war representing the True Martial Immortal Sect to avenge Fang Qiong against the Taiyi Immortal Sect with the one who killed her, Yang Fan.

When Chen Fan was in amidst of collecting different opportunities as his preparation to the Central Galaxy World, the Nine Great Immortal Sect initiated their First Week's Higher-Up Meeting located at the Center Of The Universe. This meeting spans around only 9 weeks with sometimes the sect can send a representatives of each respective sects to replace their sect masters, or sometimes they can send their Divine Soul Clones like the Sect Master Of Spiritual Sword Immortal Sect.
After Chen Fan caused mass destruction on the Five Elements Immortal Sect, the Immortal Sect was eventually voted out due to their sect masters being deceased, have almost no disciple at all, and it's territory and base itself is already destroyed and it was not worthy of the title "Immortal Sect". And after that, the position of the Immortal Sect was replaced by the Bixiao Immortal Sect while the Five Elements Immortal Sect was reformed to be the "Five Elements Holy Land". This voting was initiated in the Second Week Meeting of the Nine Great Immortal Sects by Bixiao's sect master, Bing Yao.
