Rebirth of the Urban Immortal Cultivator Wiki

The Kindred Race is one of the myriad races in the Universe. It is not specified what rank they hold on the Myriad Races List, but Chen Fan states that they are only a mid-tier race, far inferior to that of the Light Race despite their branch proxies being relative in strength on Earth.

Like those of the Light Race, members of the Kindred are born with Connate Being level bodies from birth. While their essence is not as extraordinary like the former, it can still be used to create high quality divine medicine.[1] They are also naturally weak to the Yang Element, being deeply associated with the Yin Element.

According to Chen Fan, every significant family of the Kindred use a singular word for their surname. Therefore, he deduced that Reinhart Von Camarilla descended from the Von Family, which should have status among the Kindred.[2]

Their branch in the Abandoned Star Region was later completely eradicated when Chen Fan used the remnants of his previous life's power to cleanse the entire Abandoned Star Region of potential threats to the North Qiong Sect in the future.

Appearance[]

Members of the Kindred in their true forms have large bat like wings, black scales, fangs, and red eyes. However, unless releasing their full power in combat, they usually take a more humanoid form.[3]

On Earth, members of the Kindred are known as Vampires. Due to almost all of them being of mixed blood they possess perfectly human appearances with the exception of the standard red eyes, pale skin, and fangs of the Kindred.

Power/Abilities[]

The Kindred are a mid-level race on the Starry Sky Myriad Race Roll. As such they are a notable force across the universe. All pure blooded Kindred are born with connate bodies and have at least full Xiantian level power and abilities by the time they reach adulthood.

Although the ranking of the Kindred are not known, they also possess their own terms that are equivalent to cultivation rankings. for example "Blood Lord" is equivalent to that of Nascent Soul.[3] "Blood God" is another rank used by the Kindred, but it is not revealed whether this refers to Golden Core or Transform God.

Earth Branch[]

On Earth, the only pure blooded member of the Kindred Race is Reinhart Von Camarilla and the six guardians of the Universal Teleport Door (Door of Blood) in the Red Blood Sea[4], while the rest are all half-breeds or those of even lesser blood. It is unknown if at the start other members of the Kindred also colonized the Earth. However, it is known that they had a deep connection with it as after the death of Reinhart they tried to seek revenge against the North Qiong Sect when they believed that Chen Fan died on the Planet Tianhuang. The branch from the Abandoned Star Region even sent an ancestor who is a Yuan Ying.

The Red Blood Sea contains a Universal Teleport Door that connects to a Kindred planet somewhere in the Abandoned Star Region.

In modern society, the Kindred are dubbed as Vampires and have near dominant influence in Europe. Their only rivals are the Christian Church, who although are stronger than them, are not strong enough to complete exterminate them. Their stronghold is the main headquarters of the Dark World Arbitration Department, the Kindred's prime organization. This organization was later destroyed after the five chiefs of the department attempted to assassinate Chen Fan and were all killed off.

Unlike the Christian Church, the Kindred are more involved with the public affairs of the world and play a hand in nearly every political move Europe makes. They also have a notable presence in the underworld, being the publishers of the Divine Roll.

When Chen Fan left for Planet Tianhuang, they sent reinforcements from the Abandoned Star Region to Earth, including a Nascent Soul level ancestor and took it over. Assuming Chen Fan had died, they caused heavy losses for the North Qiong Sect and almost killed A'Xiu until Chen Fan returned and slaughtered them all.
