The Dark Wolf Race or Dark Wolves are one of the known races among the Myriad Races in the Universe, and one of the Dark Races of the Universe. According to Chen Fan they are above average on the Starry Sky Myriad Race Roll, but their exact ranking is unknown.[1]
Once fully grown, full blooded members of the race were as powerful as Xiantian cultivators, allowing them to traverse through space without consequence. Particularly powerful and seasoned veterans of the race were on par with Nascent Soul cultivators and could even fight against a fleet of technological battle cruisers.[1]
Although Connate Cultivators lacked the Dark Wolf’s incredible regeneration ability, they could even withstand a direct hit from a small nuclear bomb, much less regular bombs or rockets. On the other hand, Connate Cultivators could dish out much more damage compared to the Dark Wolf thanks to numerous divine powers at their disposal.[2]
The Dark Wolves are spread far across the universe with Chen Fan himself having killed many of them along with many other races across numerous planets.
Earth[]
The majority of those possessing the bloodline of the Dark Wolves on Earth reside in Russia. So far, only three branches or subspecies of them have been introduced, The Snow Wolf Tribe led by Gagerdan, the Blood Wolf Tribe led by Oleg Nikolayevich, and the War/Battle Wolf Tribe lead by an unknown leader.
Upon noticing the bloodline of the Dark Wolves on Earth when he was trying to obtain the Fruit of Embryonic Essence in Siberia, Chen Fan claims that it is impossible for a pure blooded Dark Wolf to exist on Earth due to the lack of Spirit Qi. Even if they did, it would only be a couple barely clinging on to life due to their need of Spirit Qi.[1]
