Chuzhou City (楚州市/Chúzhōu Shì) is a city located in Jiangnan Province and the place where Chen Fan spent the time on his summer.

Chuzhou City was located in the northern part of Jiangnan Province known as Jiangbei (north of the river). The economy was mediocre at best. Wei Fu was the only famous person that came from this city in the recent century.
