Chen Xiao is Chen Fan's cousin and a member of the Chen Family. He is also the Father of Chen Yaoyao.

He is a man that has a white, long and messy hair and white eyes and always wear a white tuxedo.
Personality[]
He is a courageous, brawny and arrogant person since he has Tang Yuanqing as his backer and boss. But he became a coward that acts as a lowly servant in front of Yuan Xiao and his friends. He cares about his daughter going as much as her crying for him to return back.
Background[]
The Chen Family is not an extremely prolific family in Jinling and it never produced anyone super-rich. However, Chen Xiao was the exception. He was born from an offshoot of the main branches of the Chen Family, and therefore lacked the proper support of the clan. However, what he lacked in support, he made up for it in courageousness. In the end, his ability was noticed by the richest man in Jiangnan Province: Tang Yuanqing and the latter became his benefactor. From then on, the young man became one of the most influential people in Jinling.[1]
He ran a construction company and owned over hundreds of millions of assets. Even Chen An paled in comparison with him.[1]
History[]
During the Chen Family Gathering, he was one of the members who returned from their work to participate the party alongside the family, and he was one of the ones who was particularly noticed due to his work.[1][2]
When Chen Fan was done with his lecture in the Jinling University as Professor Beixuan, Chen Xiao appeared and exposes only Chen Fan's identity as Master Chen, and warns him that he shouldn't have come to Jinling, and asked him to leave as they are relatives, but Chen Fan paid no attention to it.[3][4][5]
Sometime during the time Chen Fan's trip to Planet Tianhuang, Chen Xiao had a Daughter with an unknown person, naming his daughter Chen Yaoyao. When some of the Members of the North Qiong Sect and the Chen Family disappeared after being taken by Immortal Cang Qing, Chen Xiao was taken by the people of the Taichu Temple after knowing his connection to Chen Fan, and left his daughter under the care of A'Xiu. He then became the servant of the Yuan Xiao, a disciple of Taichu Temple, but he was able to cultivate to the Spirit Sea level and also getting the title "Deputy Deacon" of Taichu Temple.
When Chen Fan came to Yanjing after coming back to Earth with his disguise, he was able to detect Chen Xiao's presence in the Beiding Pavilion with his Divine Will, and when he found out that Chen Fan was back, he asked him to go back but Yuan Xiao invited the both of them. When Chen Xiao was talking to Chen Fan through his Divine Will, someone noticed it and struck Chen Xiao with a whip, and when Yuan Xiao became angry, Chen Xiao kowtow to him and it caused Chen Fan to be disappointed with him, and when Chen Fan tried to helped him get up, he was also attacked but Chen Fan defied it. When Chen Fan had took Yuan Xiao to find the Sacred Grounds, Chen Xiao tried to catch up to him.[6][7][8][9][10][11]
After the big Families in Mount Yan was completely slaughtered, Chen Xiao was able to catch up to Chen Fan, and sometimes later after Chen Fan and Chen Xiao had reorganized Mount Yan, Chen Xiao was entrusted the entire Mount Yan and Yanjing by Chen Fan, as he was definitely the most powerful butler in Yanjing right then.[12][13]
