The Abandoned Star Region is the Star Region in which most of Rebirth of the Urban Immortal Cultivator takes place and is the starfield Chen Fan was born in.
It is protected by an ancient array that prevents foreign Soul Formation cultivators from entering and other arrays that was set up by the Nine Great Immortal Sects ancestors such as the True Martial Sky Severing Array.
The capital of the Abandoned Star Region is Planet Tianhuang and was ruled by Mount Emperor until Chen Fan overthrew them. Currently, the North Qiong Sect is the ruler of the starfield with many in the Little Southern Heavenly Realm considering it to be Chen Beixuan's domain.
As mentioned by Bing Yao, each generation's sect master of the True Martial Immortal Sect has the same and unique talent of being able to deduce the True Immortal Treasures buried in this Star Region by the people of the Immortal Realm. And that the Universe's Magic Formula, the River Map Theory was also located there and other things that appear in this Star Region such as The Daughter Of Heavenly Fortune and The Great Power Of Transmigration.[1]
